Fortune Magazine: Nightingale Entrusts Miratech With Daunting Task
Within its annual Fortune 500 issue, Fortune magazine highlights a recent Miratech transformation initiative that was unique in that Nightingale executive leadership determined that they would best achieve their business goals by transferring the management of their highly complex and strategically crucial core R&D operations to Miratech. The article explains that Miratech’s services included full engineering, maintenance, and support functions for Nightingale’s technology. Nightingale Informatix Corporation (TSX-V: NGH) provides innovative cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) and practice management solutions to healthcare organizations.
In the article, Miratech CEO Valeriy Kutsyy is quoted as saying, “It’s a new trend to outsource both high-complexity and high strategic importance process. We will continue to push it forward.” He predicts that many more companies will decide that it is in their best business interest to transfer the management of their high-complexity, highly strategic processes to a trusted third party. This may be particularly true after they see the benefits of this disruptive arrangement. Nightingale CEO Cam Chebib says, “Miratech’s processes have brought predictability into the product development schedule, while materially improving the software quality and performance.”
The article appears within a section featuring the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals’® (IAOP®) Global Outsourcing 100®, a list of the 100 best outsourcing companies for 2016. Miratech appears on the Global Outsourcing 100 list for the fourth year in a row, and is recognized for special distinctions for Customer References, Awards & Certifications, and Programs for Innovation.
